Bang & Olufsen HDR 2 Hard Drive Video Recorder
- October 11th, 2006 | PVR

Bang & Olufsen, your favorite Danish high-end accessory manufacturer, have come out with a nifty hard drive video recorder. Called the HDR 2, it can store up to 60 hours of DVD quality video or 110 hours at Super VHS quality.
They’ve also included a feature where the oldest viewed episodes get deleted, making sure there is plenty of room for Lost and other TV shows. You can also set it up so that it will only store the last 3 episodes and delete anything else from that series.
The HDR 2 can stream a recording to any TV in the house via the Beolink system and can be controlled via the BEO 4 remote controller. Here comes the bad part. Bang & Olufsen, never renowned for their cost-cutting prowess, will retail the HDR 2 for about $1,820. Ouch!
