Verizon Rises Prices For FiOS IPTV Service

Verizon’s internet TV service, FiOS, has been around since September 2005.  However, due to added costs in building out the fiber network needed to make the IPTV viable, Verizon have announced a price hike of 7.5%.  Ouch!  That will work out at an average monthly fee of $42.99, which will start in January 2007.
