HDTV Sales Increasing

According to Pacific Media Associates, it’s expected that more than 3M flat-panel HDTV’s will be sold in Q4 2006. Prices have already dropped, making the units more attractive to consumers. The increase in demand is also coinciding with increased HDTV programming by broadcasters. However, over 50% of purchasers do not not seem to know that additional set-top equipment is required to actually receive HDTV signals.
