Installing MythTV On Ubuntu

We’ve been giving MythTV a bit of coverage here recently, mostly because this open source deserves it.  Not only is the program packed full of handy features, time-shifting et al, but it is featured in some very cool PVRs.

There has also been a ton of buzz around Ubuntu recently, an up-and-coming Linux distribution that has huge potential to take marketshare from other established OSes because of it’s ease of use.  So if you are interested in running Ubuntu (perhaps on an particition to start with) you may want to install MythTV.
