- November 30th, 2006 | Plasma
Runco are widely recognized as a producer of solid high performance audio visual equipment, and the company’s latest releases are no different. According to a press release issued yesterday Runco are offering no less than six new plasma displays; the SP-42, SP-42DHD, SP-50, SP-50DHD, SP-60, and SP-60DHD (ranging from 42 inch to 60 inch) which will be rolled into the current PlasmaWall™ and CinemaWall™ product lines.
Each of the new displays feature DHD Digital High Definition Video Controller/Processor with Vivix II technology that upscales standard definition TV to a high definition equivalent instead of actually being natively 1080p HD displays. Each of the displays have a bunch of inputs with everything from DVI, HDCP and RGB to Composite S-Video, RS-232 and DVI Video catered for. The new panels have a slick high gloss black finish, can be wall or ceiling mounted and measure only 4 inches thick. The displays are all capable of 16 : 9 widescreen and have a maximum resolution ranging from 1,024 x 768 to 1,365 x 768.
No word on pricing just yet. Keep an eye on the Runco website, details should be put up there soon.
